ShortMax: Price, Free Episodes, Is It Worth It?

What is ShortMax?

It is a mobile catalog of short, serialized dramas, and one of the short drama apps this site tracks. Start with the free download, choose a series and look at the paywall before you commit to coins or a recurring plan. The catalog and access rules can change inside the app. A store description does not promise that your chosen show is included.

Who makes ShortMax?

The US App Store lists SHORTTV LIMITED as seller. The Google Play developer details give a Hong Kong address for SHORTTV LIMITED. A connection to Jiuzhou Culture could not be verified. The named seller is the company on the store listing. It does not prove any parent-company relationship. For a cross-app view, read who owns short-drama apps.

How much does ShortMax cost?

The public US App Store entries range from $3.49 to $24.99. A listed price may not be the offer you see on your device. Apple shows only a selection of in-app purchases. Some labels leave out the billing period or what the purchase unlocks. Here are the distinct public entries, checked September 28, 2026:

ShortMax labels its recurring offer “Weekly Pass Pro.” The App Store also lists one-time purchases but does not say whether they are coins or another entitlement. Read the checkout screen for the renewal interval, tax, and precise entitlement. The ShortMax price guide separates what is public from what still needs in-app confirmation.

How do coins and VIP work?

Coins are an in-app balance that may unlock single paywall episodes. VIP is a recurring or time-limited access offer. The public listing does not always say how many coins an episode costs. It may not say whether bonus coins expire or whether a plan covers every title. Compare the offer in your app against the number of locked episodes left. Compare short-drama app prices before treating any weekly offer as good value.

How can you watch ShortMax free?

The app is free to download, and its listing says it contains advertising. That does not guarantee an ad-unlock route for a given series. Start with the free content the publisher offers in the app or on its own channel. If an episode asks for coins, check the reward or ad options and their limits. Avoid sites that copy episodes or promise free coins. The ShortMax free-viewing guide covers lawful routes.

Is ShortMax safe to use?

Install from Apple or Google Play and check the named developer. Read the store's privacy information and age rating before you create an account. A store rating is user feedback. It is not a security audit or a guarantee about billing. The current Apple listing rates the app 4.6 out of 5 from about 176K ratings, checked September 28, 2026. Read the app safety guide for the specific checks.

Are ShortMax shows AI?

ShortMax's App Store description, checked October 2, 2026, does not say how much of its catalogue is AI-made. It mentions AI only for "Personalized Watchlist & AI Recommendations". That feature suggests shows. It does not make them. The listing does not label AI titles. Check the cast credits before paying, and see AI cast vs human dramas.

How do you cancel and request a refund?

Cancel through the company that billed you. Deleting ShortMax does not cancel a Google Play subscription, and it does not replace the Apple cancellation flow. Check your receipt if you cannot find the plan. To get back a past charge, see the ShortMax refund guide. For account problems, start with ShortMax customer service.

These are the current Apple cancellation instructions, Google cancellation instructions, Apple refund instructions and Google refund instructions, checked September 28, 2026. If a plan is absent, check the Apple or Google account on the receipt before assuming it ended.

How do you avoid an unexpected renewal?

Before you accept a ShortMax offer, read the renewal period and the next charge date on the checkout screen. A weekly plan can renew before you finish the next series. Write down the billing account on the receipt. That account controls cancellation and any refund request. For a one-time purchase, confirm what the balance or unlock actually includes.

You can cancel a store-billed subscription as soon as you know you do not want another term. Google says access generally lasts through the paid period after cancellation. Apple says the absence of a Cancel button or a red expiration message means the subscription is already canceled. Check the final subscription screen, then keep the receipt and cancellation confirmation. If the charge came from the publisher's own website, use that merchant's account and support route. Apple and Google will not show it.

What shows is ShortMax known for?

The listing describes contemporary romance, CEO stories, werewolf romance and revenge. It does not name current series titles that could be verified. Check the publisher catalog in the app for the current lineup.

How does ShortMax compare with another app?

Compare the exact series first, then compare the price of finishing it and the renewal date. ShortMax has the purchase choices above. Another app may offer a different catalog or free route. See the short-drama app comparison for a wider choice, ReelShort vs ShortMax for one direct matchup or apps like ShortMax for alternatives, and keep the checkout screen as the final price source.

Are there ShortMax coupons or promo codes?

No code appeared in the official ShortMax listings checked September 28, 2026. For legitimate free routes and how to tell a real app from a fake one, see the free viewing guide.

What can you watch on ShortMax for free?

A free download does not mean a free whole series. The public listings give no fixed free-episode or ad allowance for every title or account. Open your show and check the free opening episodes, ad unlocks and daily rewards. The free viewing guide covers legitimate routes.

Does ShortMax have a free trial?

Unconfirmed. No public ShortMax listing checked shows a trial length, first paid price and renewal interval together. How trials renew and when to cancel one is in the cancellation guide.

How do you cancel ShortMax?

Use the store on your receipt. On iPhone, open Settings, your name, Subscriptions, ShortMax, then Cancel Subscription. On Android, open Google Play subscriptions, select ShortMax, then Cancel subscription. Apple and Google publish the steps. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. If it is missing, check another billing account or the website merchant. See the cancellation guide.

Where is ShortMax available outside the US?

On September 28, 2026, ShortMax had Apple and Google Play listings in the US, the UK, Indonesia and Brazil. A visible listing does not guarantee that every account can install or buy. Availability depends on your country and account, so check your local listing before paying. Apple's checked interface languages include English, French, German, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Chinese, Spanish and Thai. Catalogue, subtitles and prices may differ by country. If the app is missing locally, ask the publisher about availability. Bypassing a regional restriction with a VPN may break the app's terms.

Where should you download ShortMax?

Use the US App Store listing or US Google Play listing. On September 28, 2026, Apple showed 4.6 out of 5 from 175,928 ratings. Google showed 4.4 out of 5 and 100M+ downloads. Avoid third-party APK download sites. A user rating does not guarantee billing safety.

Can you watch ShortMax on a tablet, computer or TV?

Apple's checked US listing says "Only for iPhone", so iPad is not listed. Google Play lists Android in the US. The checked sources do not confirm an official desktop player, TV casting or a dedicated TV app. For what screen mirroring can and cannot do, see short drama apps on TV.
