Who runs the awards, and who pays for the ceremony?

Jen Cooper runs Vertical Drama Love and founded the awards. FlareFlow was announced as presenting partner for the ceremony at El Portal Theatre, according to Señal News. Presenting an event is different from deciding its winners. The organizer's rules say sponsors have no role in nominations, voting or the result.

How did nominations and voting work?

Fans and creatives submitted nominations, then the organizer checked eligibility and used nomination totals to form the shortlists. The rules limited eligibility to English-language vertical series released in 2025. The published shortlist rules allowed five nominees in most categories and ten in the Rising Star and Vertical Legend categories.

The highest vote total won. The organizer limited submissions to one per person, checked email and IP data, and described automated-pattern checks plus manual review. Those are stated safeguards, not an independent audit.

The original rules page contains stale text saying “Thursday 23 March” lower down. Its main announcement and the event announcement give April 23.

Which acting performances won?
